Version 1.5 — Driver ratings

Rate a station: tell other drivers whether the pump price matched the price shown, what you actually paid, give it 1–5 stars and add a short comment. You can rate without buying fuel, too.
Stations where drivers often report the pump price didn't match now carry a warning, clearly labelled as driver reports and kept separate from the official prices.
Report a comment, or hide all comments from a reviewer. Every comment is checked before it appears.
Station pages have a taller map, with the station name underneath and a star beside the favourite heart showing its rating.
Prices that look out of date or unusually high or low are flagged, and never picked as a station's cheapest price.
Station search now puts matches near you first.
“Report a price discrepancy” now takes you to the GOV.UK reporting page.
Links to station pages with a name in the address now open the right station.

Mute price-drop alerts for a favourite without removing it.
Change which fuel an existing favourite tracks, from the Favourites screen.
Favourite stations stand out on the map with a gold ring and star.
Rotate the map so your direction of travel faces up, and use the compass to get back to north.
Favourite a station straight from the Nearby list, which now shows an approximate distance for every station.
Favouriting a station now uses the fuel you're looking at, not always your usual fuel.
The Nearby list is now sorted cheapest first and follows the map as you move it, leaving more room for the map.

Fixed being signed out, or seeing “Invalid Token” in Favourites, about a week after signing in.

Signing in now syncs your saved preferences (fuel type, MPG, tank capacity, long fuel names, theme) to your account — set them once and they follow you to your other devices, with your account's saved settings taking priority.
Favourites now show the actual station name instead of a generic placeholder.
Fixed the “Done” button not reliably appearing on the numeric keyboard in Settings.

Station price history charts now let you switch between fuel types to compare 30-day trends.
Fixed the keyboard not closing when entering your average MPG or tank capacity in Settings.
The “What's New” notice can now be dismissed.

See nearby stations on a live map with current prices for E10, E5, B7 (standard & premium), B10 and HVO.
Sort by price to find the cheapest fuel nearby or along your route.
Search any UK town, postcode or station by name.
Price history charts show how a station's prices have moved over the last 30 days.
National average and trend charts show whether fuel is getting more or less expensive across the UK.
A price heatmap shows where fuel is cheapest and most expensive by region.
Save your favourite stations and get notified the moment one drops in price, with a price-drop threshold you set per station.
Enter your car's average MPG and tank size once, and Fuel Tracker UK works out whether driving to a cheaper station is really worth it after accounting for the fuel it takes to get there.
Report a price discrepancy in one tap so it can be corrected.
Free to use and ad-free, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases — browse nearby prices without creating an account.
Sign in with Apple or Google only if you want favourites and alerts saved across your devices; delete your account and data at any time from Settings.
